Listing your agency on Niptei: what it means, what it costs, what it doesn't do
A public listing is the smallest commitment an agency can make on Niptei, and it should be understood exactly before it is switched on. This guide states what a listing is, what it costs, which switches stay in the agency's hands — and, just as plainly, what it does not do, so nobody lists expecting something the platform never offered.

What a listing is
A listing is a public card in Niptei's directory, built from the facts on your agency's own record: your name, your city and region, the setting you have declared, the funding you have declared you accept, and — for group homes — a vacant-bed count worked out from your own placement records at the moment the page is read. Nothing on the card is typed in for the occasion and nothing is estimated.
Listing is opt-in, and it is separate from using Niptei to run your operation. An agency can work on Niptei with no public card at all. The listing exists only when the agency turns its public profile on in Settings, and it stops existing when the agency turns it off.
What it costs
The standard price for agencies in the US is $499 a month, and every agency starts with a 30-day free trial. The price includes up to 50 carers; beyond that, each additional carer is $10 a month. The first 25 agencies to open a public listing pay a founding rate instead: $249 a month, locked in for as long as their subscription stays continuously active. Agencies that list after the first 25 pay the standard price, and a founding agency that cancels and later returns rejoins at the standard price. There is no separate fee for holding a public listing — the subscription, at whichever rate applies, is the whole of the platform's charges as they stand.
One plain fact about payment itself: Niptei does not take payment inside the app today, and no card is asked for to start the trial. The price above is the standing offer the subscription is worked out from, stated here so the arithmetic is never a surprise.
Referrals are your switch, not a default
A listing and referrals are two different switches. Turning your public profile on shows your card; turning referrals on is a second, separate choice, and only agencies that make it can be sent referrals from the public pages. Each referral lands in your Referrals inbox in Niptei, and your office decides whether to accept it — nothing is accepted, assigned, or promised on your behalf.
What a referral says about funding is the referrer's statement, shown to you labeled as such. It never sets a client's service track or payer on the record your office creates — that choice stays where it belongs, with your office.
The founding-provider label
The first 25 agencies to open a public listing on Niptei carry a Founding provider label on their card. The rule is exactly that and no more: among agencies that are not demonstration accounts and that currently hold a public listing, the first 25 by the date their agency record was created carry the label. It is display only — it claims nothing beyond being early, and it comes with no placement, preference, or promise attached.
The label is not the only thing the first 25 hold: the same cohort pays the founding subscription rate set out under "What it costs" above — $249 a month instead of the standard $499 — for as long as their subscription stays continuously active.
What a listing doesn't do
A listing does not promise clients, referrals, or any volume of either. It puts your recorded facts where families and referral partners look; whether anyone writes is theirs to decide, and a quiet listing is a possible outcome, not a malfunction.
Niptei does not send automatic emails — not to families about your agency, and not to your office about new referrals. A referral waits in your inbox until your office opens it, so an agency that lists should treat checking its inbox as part of the arrangement. The directory also does not rank agencies against each other: the list runs in alphabetical order by name, and no position in it can be bought or earned.
Finally, a listing is not a verification. Niptei records the license and credentials your agency declares and shows the facts as recorded; it does not check them against any regulator or registry, and the card should never be read — by a family, a partner, or the agency itself — as an outside body having approved anything.
Tell us what you need
Start the same way the homepage does: pick the help, say where care is needed, and see the providers listed for your area. If none is listed yet, you can register your interest there instead — that is how new areas open.
